1968/9 Under 13s Football Team.

Winners of the U/13 Schools Cup. The team would also have won the League Title but for an act of mindless vandalism at the school after which all sporting activities where suspended by the headmaster Mr. Townsend. The team finished runners-up, losing the title by just a point, even though  several games where unplayed. Much of the credit for this achievement has to go to the excellent coaching of Mr. Hughes who taught us to play as a complete team.
